About Amanzi Island Lodge
Amanzi Island Lodge balances comfort and luxury in beautiful surroundings. There can be no better spot for relaxing and exploring all that the Garden Route has to offer. Guests at our bed-and-breakfast beach house enjoy wonderful views of the Knysna lagoon and the Featherbed Nature Reserve on the majestic Knysna Heads.
Our spacious and luxuriously appointed bedrooms open out either onto a balcony or onto the garden. We also have one self-catering garden-facing & one self-catering lagoon facing apartments available for those who would rather not eat out every night. The guest lounge, dining rooms and pub also offer guests spectacular lagoon views.
Indulge in a scrumptious breakfast on the terrace each morning while you watch the tides slowly turn beneath the majestic Knysna Heads. Then head out to explore the many activities that Knysna and the Garden Route have to offer.
Or spend a day on Leisure Isle relaxing by our swimming pools. You're welcome to take one of the bicycles for a spin and explore the island or paddle a canoe on the lagoon.
Wireless internet access is available for guests to share their holiday experiences with family back home.
After a hard day's relaxation come and join us for a sundowner at our bar and order your delicious dinner meals at our Amanzi lodge restaurant. We'll also gladly make dinner reservations for you at one of the nearby Knysna restaurants.

Coming from CAPE TOWN on the N2:
Drive though Knysna Town, passed the Knysna hospital, until you come to a Quick Spar and Caltex garage on your right hand side. Take the next road right onto George Rex Drive, which will take you towards Leisure Isle and the Knysna Heads.
Follow the signs to Leisure Isle. You'll pass the Knysna Golf Course on your left hand side. Turn right onto Armstrong road, the causeway that will take you onto Leisure Isle. Once on the Island take the first left (Woodbourne Drive). This road becomes Cearn drive. Amanzi Island Lodge is number 31.
Coming From PLETTENBERG BAY on the N2:
Drive down the hill into Knysna. At the bottom of the hill, before the Caltex Garage, turn left onto George Rex Drive, which will take you towards Leisure Isle and the Knysna Heads.
